Week two of the Alliance of American Football took place this past weekend, so that means we can recap how former Buffalo Bills did performing in the league. If we missed anyone that you know who had a good game, please let us know.
Colton Schmidt of the Birmingham Iron had another strong game, punting six times averaging over 40 yards a kick. He played against another Bills’ former punter in Austin Rehkow who also averaged 40 yards a kick but on five punts instead of six.
Ron Brooks had a decent game with the San Diego Fleet. Even though he only recorded one tackle his defense held the Atlanta Legends to only 12 points. Brooks played against former backup quarterback Matt Simms who had a tough day in the pocket passing for only 160 yards. Rashad Ross had a good performance for the Arizona Hotshots catching a team high four passes for 67 yards.
As a little bonus, former Jets quarterback Christian Hackenberg is also playing in the AAF and has been dominated thus far, only passing for 100 yards in his game on Sunday.
