Buffalo Bills fans like what the team did this offseason. So much so, that optimism is way up among the fans responding to our FanPulse poll this week.

Up from 71% when the season ended, 86% of fans are now confident in the direction the Bills are taking. That’s the eighth-highest number in the NFL and highest among the AFC East teams. Yes, even higher than the Super Bowl winners, the New England Patriots.

And there’s more!

Of those polled, 98% think the Bills got better during free agency. While it’s not unanimous, Buffalo fans are clearly happy with the moves general manager Brandon Beane has made this offseason.

Buffalo bolstered their offense with wide receivers Cole Beasley. John Brown, and D’haquille Williams along with tight ends Tyler Kroft and Jake Fisher and running back Frank Gore. The offensive line was reinforced with starters and reserves; Mitch Morse, Spencer Long, Ty Nsekhe, Jon Feliciano, and LaAdrian Waddle.

Defensively, Buffalo added a few potential starters at cornerback in Kevin Johnson and E.J. Gaines. Special teams got a shot in the arm with returner Andre Roberts and core special teamers Senorise Perry and Maurice Alexander.
