Polls: Buffalo Bills to take on Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day

Buffalo has not played on the national holiday since 1994

The Buffalo Bills are set to play in their first Thanksgiving Day game in 25 years, as the team will travel to Arlington to take on the Dallas Cowboys on the national holiday.

Buffalo has not played in a Thanksgiving Day game since the 1994 season. That day, they traveled to the Motor City and lost to the Detroit Lions by a score of 35-21. The loss dropped Buffalo to 6-6 on the year. Jim Kelly threw only six incomplete passes on the day, but two of them were intercepted and one was returned by Willie Clay for a 28-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The Bills last played the Cowboys in the 2015 season, beating them in Orchard Park 16-6 in a match-up of teams that had been eliminated from the playoffs. This year’s trip to Dallas allows wide receiver Cole Beasley the chance to play against his former team, as the veteran receiver signed a free-agent deal with the Bills this March.

We have two poll questions for Bills fans today:

With the game being on a holiday, some fans might not be able to go to the game while others might be excited that it’s a long weekend and you could take some time to explore the Greater Dallas metro area. Into which camp do you fall?
