Breaking Buffalo Rumblings: Recapping Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft

Cody Ford and Devin Singletary join the Buffalo Bills on Day 2

(Editor’s note: This post and the Podcast it references were both completed prior to the Bills’ selection of Ole Miss TE Dawson Knox late in the third round.)

The Buffalo Bills were active on Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft, trading up to the 38th pick in a deal with the Oakland Raiders. Brandon Beane and the Bills packaged picks 40 and 158 to move up and select Cody Ford of Oklahoma. It will be interesting to see where Ford fits in with the Bills, as he may start at guard before transitioning to tackle.

With pick 74, the Bills addressed the running back position with the selection of Devin Singletary from Florida Atlantic University. This pick will add plenty of speculation around LeSean McCoy, and if his days in Buffalo are numbered.

Note: This episode was recorded prior to the trade for Dawson Knox.
