The Buffalo Bills came into the 2019 NFL Draft with ten total draft picks and following the fortuitous selection of defensive tackle Ed Oliver, the team held nine more coming into Friday night. But with with a run on offensive tackles early and a player they clearly valued still on the board, Brandon Beane chose to move up two spots to pick 38 and take offensive lineman Cody Ford from Oklahoma. The trade with the Oakland Raiders cost the Bills their latter fifth round pick (No. 158).
Later on Day 2, the Bills saw a cliff coming at tight end and packaged their two fourth-round picks to move back up into the third round and take Dawson Knox from Oklahoma. Picks 112 and 131 are now gone, leaving Buffalo with no picks in the first round of Saturday’s selection meeting.
The Bills currently have one pick in the fifth, one pick in the sixth round, and two picks in the seventh round.
