Should the Bills use their first-round pick on an edge rusher, defensive tackle, or offensive lineman?

On the latest episode of Billieve: A Buffalo Bills Fan Podcast, host John Boccacino and co-host Anthony Marino address the latest offensive lineman signed by the Buffalo Bills as the team continues its thorough overhaul of the o-line this offseason.

With the NFL Draft less than three weeks away, they also weigh in on the best options for the Bills at pick No. 9 (excluding Ed Oliver, the University of Houston edge rusher who has been extensively discussed on previous podcasts).

The Bills, who were ranked 26th overall in Pro Football Focus’ 2018 offensive line rankings, certainly have been active in addressing and improving an under-performing unit. Buffalo inked free-agent guard Quinton Spain, formerly of the Tennessee Titans, to a one-year deal, the sixth addition to the offensive line this season. Spain joins center Mitch Morse, guards Spain, Spencer Long and Jon Feliciano, and tackles Ty Nsekhe and LaAdrian Waddle as new members of Buffalo’s offensive line for 2019.

Combined, the Bills added 317 career games of experience to their offensive line, including 196 career starts. The total guaranteed money (excluding Spain, whose contract details haven’t been announced yet) committed to these six linemen is $39.05 million.

When it comes to the draft (April 25-27 in Nashville, Tenn.), there is an extremely talented crop of players for the Bills to select with their first-round pick. Buffalo could boost its defensive line by tabbing Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams or Mississippi State pass rusher Montez Sweat.

Or the Bills could continue their retooling of the offensive line by drafting University of Florida standout right tackle Jawaan Taylor or Alabama’s talented tackle Jonah Williams.

What do you think, Bills fans? Has Buffalo solved its offensive line woes with its free agent additions? Who should the Bills draft at No. 9?
