Only one of the practice sessions will be in the evening, as well: on Friday, August 2nd, when the team holds a scrimmage at New Era Field. A 2:45 session on Sunday, August 4th is the only afternoon session open to the public, and every other session begins at 9:45 in the morning. Since Sean McDermott took over as head coach, the Bills have trended toward fewer accommodations for fans with 9 to 5 jobs during training camp. The 2018 morning practices started at 8:45, so the 2019 sessions stick even further into the middle of the day.
The Bills will likely participate in open practices with the Carolina Panthers ahead of their second preseason game. It’s possible that Bills fans in the Carolinas might be able to stop by and see their team at those events.
