The Buffalo Bills’ first preseason action of the 2019 season was largely a positive experience marred by a couple turnovers (thanks Russ Bodine!), a few dropped passes and what looks like zero serious injuries.
Quarterback Josh Allen looked a bit rusty in the first series but quickly settled in during the second. He finished the day looking decisive, going 6-of-11 for 66 yards and an eight-yard scramble.
The defense was able to one-up the offense, essentially locking-down both the Indianapolis Colts’ running game and quarterback Jacoby Brissett. The only blemish for the defense was the field goal given up on the final drive of the first half.
It’s a 14-3 game as Tyree Jackson now takes the field for his audition to be the starting quarterback along with the rest of the Bills third stringers. Keep it here at Buffalo Rumblings and leave your comments below!
