The Buffalo Bills were on the practice field today, preparing to take on the New York Giants this Sunday in the Meadowlands. Notably, Levi Wallace missed time due to an ankle he tweaked during a non-contact one-on-one drill with Zay Jones.
Wallace got up limping, and the Bills’ athletic trainers quickly came over to check on him. Following the injury, head coach Sean McDermott stated that Wallace was able to return to practice.
Levi Wallace was listed on today's injury report as limited in practice with an ankle injury.

Sean McDermott said Wallace "tweaked his ankle" but returned.
Obviously something to keep an eye on as the week goes on. @WGRZ https://t.co/PPBcrDYzvk
The Bills’ defensive backfield is currently without nickel cornerback Taron Johnson, who suffered a hamstring injury during last Sunday’s win against the New York Jets. Now with an injured ankle, Levi Wallace’s health will bear monitoring as Sunday’s clash approaches.
If Wallace were unable to play, the starter across from Tre’Davious White would be Kevin Johnson, a veteran the Bills signed in the offseason. The team currently has three healthy corners (including Wallace) and six safeties on the 53-man roster.
