The Buffalo Bills worked through their final practice Friday before returning to the Meadowlands to face the New York Giants, and two key figures appeared on the practice field. Cole Beasley, who missed Thursday’s practice with an illness, returned to the field on Friday. Levi Wallace, who appeared to suffer an ankle injury in Thursday’s practice, was back to practicing on Friday with a wrap around his ankle. Per Sean McDermott, the Bills “think he’ll be okay.”
Two starters remained held out of practice. Kick returner Andre Roberts, working through his quad injury, still hasn’t practiced since the start of the season, and has been ruled out for Sunday. Nickel cornerback Taron Johnson, who suffered a hamstring injury against the New York Jets, has also been ruled out for Sunday after missing the full week of practice. The Bills will be counting on Kevin Johnson and Siran Neal to cover for Johnson, with the two-pronged threat of Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram looming.
Micah Hyde caught punts in place of Roberts last week.
The only other person on the Bills’ injury report was Tyler Kroft. The tight end hasn’t had a full practice since coming off the PUP list and is listed as questionable. With the rest of the tight end group healthy, it would be surprising to see him in uniform Sunday.
