Injury report: Dean Marlowe, Josh Allen in concussion protocol for Buffalo Bills

Injuries up and down.

Buffalo Bills safety Dean Marlowe joined quarterback Josh Allen in the team’s concussion protocol on Sunday, head coach Sean McDermott said Monday afternoon during the his weekly press conference. Neither were given timetables for return.

McDermott would not comment on the hit Allen took when he sustained the concussion. He also went on to say that Matt Barkley would be preparing as the starter, but didn’t mention if the team would add another signal-caller to the active roster.

Running back Devin Singletary was “close to playing” on Sunday against the Patriots, which would lead you to believe he could get some work against the Tennessee Titans this weekend. Frank Gore has played great in his stead.

With the bye week following this Sunday’s game against Tennessee, there will be some extra time for the nicked up guys to recover. Buffalo had a long list of injuries heading into the game against New England.
