Buffalo Bills fans settle in for offseason feeling confident in the future

According to our results, we’re pretty much back where we started.

Throughout 2019, we tracked Buffalo Bills fan confidence from the end of the 2018 season, through free agency, and the 2019 NFL Draft, training camp, and the regular season. Throughout the whole time, Bills fans sat pretty optimistic of their team’s chances. Outside of one blip, the team played well and as they finish their season with a loss to the Houston Texans, fans are generally level-headed about it in our FanPulse polling.

Bills fans began the 2019 offseason at 71% fan confidence, which jumped to 86% when they made their big free-agency splash. That’s roughly where they ended the season, at 81% fan confidence, following the team’s loss.

Every team ahead of them in the FanPulse rankings is still alive in the postseason. Buffalo is even ahead of the Texans, who are just 40% confident in the direction of their team.

Around the AFC East, Miami Dolphins fans come in at 74%, New England Patriots fans are at 35%, and New York Jets fans are only 11% confident. The Bills and Dolphins are on their way up in the division while the Jets and Patriots are on their way down.
