The Bills could be losing some brains.

With Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll among the finalists for the Cleveland Browns head-coaching search, word has come from Ohio that another member of the organization could be in line for a promotion with the Browns. Assistant general manager Joe Schoen is on the short list for Cleveland’s open general manager spot according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Cabot also reports that the Browns have requested and been given permission to interview Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds. Dodds worked with another of Cleveland’s head coaching finalists—San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh—while the pair were with the Seattle Seahawks.

Schoen was hired from the Miami Dolphins in May of 2017, a week after Brandon Beane took over as general manager. The pair met in the Carolina Panthers organization, where they worked their way up from interns, before Shoen headed to Miami.

Joe Buscaglia wrote a great feature on Schoen when the Bills went to practice with the Panthers during training camp this year. I’d check it out if I were you.
