Buffalo Bills fans remain confident heading into Week 5 game

Bills fans continue to be at historic levels of confidence.

Matt Warren is Associate Director of NFL coverage for SB Nation and previously covered the Bills for Buffalo Rumblings for more than a decade.

With the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans playing a game of “will they or won’t they” this week, it hasn’t stopped Bills fans from being confident in the direction of their team. For the third straight week, 100% of Bills fans responded in our SB Nation Reacts polling saying they were confident in the direction of the team.

Fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints were also at 100% before this week’s slate of games with Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs fans close behind at 98%.

The other end of the spectrum saw fans of the Atlanta Falcons at just 0%. Their general manager and head coach were fired after the most recent loss. While the Houston Texans remained at 0% for a coupe weeks, they jumped to 79% after the firing of Bill O’Brien a week ago.

Tennessee Titans fans have fallen in confidence over the last two weeks despite not playing any games. From 97% to 83% to 76%, fans are questioning whether the team can overcome their COVID-19 challenges. The most-anticipated game of the week is still to come.

In the AFC East, the New England Patriots are second to Buffalo at 86% with the Miami Dolphins at 76% and the New York Jets holding steady in the single digits at 3%.
