The Tennessee Titans are a little closer to full strength ahead of their game against the Buffalo Bills tonight. Cornerback Kristian Fulton and linebacker Kamalei Correa were both activated from the COVID-19 reserve list shortly before the Titans had to declare their active roster for the Tuesday Night Football game.
In addition to those two players, the Titans also activated four members of their practice squad: OL David Quessenberry, DB Kareem Orr, WR Cody Hollister, and LB Daren Bates.
Fulton, who’s one of the key pieces of the Titans secondary, has a sack and an interception this year, along with nine tackles. With Adoree Jackson still on injured reserve, Fulton will be one of the top three cornerbacks playing tonight. Correa is a reserve linebacker with two tackles this year.
Most noteworthy are the players who didn’t get cleared. That includes defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, one of the team’s most valuable players this year. It also includes two of the top three receivers. Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, both still sidelined on the COVID-19 reserve list, lead the team in receptions with 15 each.
The Titans are going to see A.J. Brown return to action for the first time since week one. Last year, Brown had 52 receptions for 1051 yards and 8 touchdowns.
The Buffalo Bills don’t have any COVID-19 players to process. But they did promote linebacker Andre Smith and cornerback Dane Jackson to the active roster for tonight’s game.
