As the Buffalo Bills get set for their Week 6 game with the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s time to look at the fantasy implications heading into Monday night’s game. Check out my thoughts below, and be sure to share your own in the comments section.
An offensive matchup
The Bills and Chiefs have two of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL, with each team averaging over 400 yards per game. While this was expected from the Chiefs this season, the same could not be said for Josh Allen and the Bills.
Despite an off game by 2020 standards for Allen, he remains a must start for fantasy owners in all formats. Stefon Diggs remains an every week WR1, and John Brown (if healthy) and Cole Beasley can be considered FLEX plays.
What to do with Devin Singletary?
The Bills’ running game has been a bit of a head scratcher this season. with 94 yards rushing per game. Devin Singletary only has 238 yards rushing on 61 carries, which falls a bit below expectations following a successful rookie campaign. The silver lining here is that Singletary does have 17 catches, providing some upside for those in PPR formats.
Where I roster Singletary, I am going to start him in my FLEX spot. This is expected to be a high-scoring game, and I expect him to be active in the passing game against the Chiefs. I will also keep an eye on Zack Moss, to see if he is back healthy this week. He might be a drop candidate as bye weeks come into play, but I am not giving up on the rookie just yet.
Best of luck in your matchups this week, and go Bills!
