You may have heard that the Buffalo Bills are playing the Kansas City Chiefs this week in a highly anticipated battle pitting Josh Allen against Patrick Mahomes. That, apparently, has been enough for odds makers to set a new precedent for the Bills.
Earlier in the week, (when the odds came out) the Bills/Chiefs matchup opened with a 57.5 over/under. That is the highest mark in Bills history and the fourth-highest total in history for the Chiefs.
This Monday's Chiefs at Bills over/under is 57.5.

That's the highest over/under in the history of the Bills, and 4th highest total ever for the Chiefs (according to @pfref and @Stathead).
Previous high for Bills was the famous 34-31 win over Patriots in 2011. O/U was 54.5
That number has since changed throughout the week since the initial release of the over/under. The number now sits as high as 57 on certain sites, according to Odds Shark.
Buffalo plays Kansas City at 5 p.m. EDT on FOX. The Bills will have their hands full with a hungry Chiefs team coming off a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5. The Bills, of course, just came off an odd Tuesday night game loss to the Titans.
The Bills and Chiefs will have to put up some extravagant offensive numbers if they want to get to that over/under number.
