The Buffalo Bills are set to host the New England Patriots on Sunday, in an important game for both teams in the AFC East. The Bills look to gain further ground in the division, while the Patriots are looking to avoid a 2-5 start. Fans of both teams will certainly be concerned about the outcome of the game, while fantasy owners will be looking at the impending weather forecast.
Plenty of rain and strong winds are currently expected for Sunday’s game, which could make things a bit tough when setting your lineups. With that being said, I am a firm believer that you always start your stud players. I am most certainly playing Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs in all matchups. there is no need to get cute and tinker with your lineup.
Cole Beasley is also an attractive option in PPR leagues, especially with four teams on bye this week. As excited as I am about the prospect of John Brown returning this week, I prefer a wait-and-see approach before starting him. Same can be said with Devin Singletary or Zack Moss, who could be part of a timeshare moving forward.
Finally, feel free to start the Bills’ defense/special teams this week. The Patriots’ offense has struggled in recent weeks, and Julian Edelman has been ruled out for Sunday. Buffalo’s defense still has to show significant improvement this season, but they can be considered a top-ten option this week.
Best of luck with your matchups, and go Bills!
