Tennessee Titans receive negative COVID-19 results Friday morning

A first step to Tuesday.

The Tennessee Titans reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Friday morning in tests conducted Thursday. It’s a step toward completing their rescheduled game against the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday night.

The Titans returned two more positive results on Thursday, bringing their total to 23 confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the organization since the saga began in late September, including 13 players. Here is the full list of players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list:

  • CB Kristian Fulton
  • OL Kamalei Correa
  • DL DaQuan Jones
  • LS Beau Brinkley
  • FB Khari Blasingame

  • OT Isaiah Wilson
  • CB Greg Mabin (practice squad)
  • CB Breon Borders (practice squad)
  • WR Cameron Batson (practice squad)

In addition to the slew of cases this week, a report of COVID protocol breaches including mask violations and outside practices that weren’t supposed to take place.

If it is played on Tuesday, it will be the first NFL game on that night of the week since 2010 when a blizzard delayed a Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles game.

Buffalo’s Thursday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs is being moved to “the weekend” following the slight postponement of their game against the Titans.
