The Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers kick off in right around 90 minutes. Each team released its inactive list, and Buffalo’s had some surprising names. The Bills ruled out two players, wide receiver John Brown and guard Cody Ford, but then they placed those players on injured reserve. They don’t count towards today’s inactive grouping.
Who’s in and who’s out this week? The full list for each team is below.
QB Jake Fromm
See what’s happening right now in Denver for the real reason why Fromm remains in bubble wrap each week. Great planning here by general manager Brandon Beane and company so that the Bills can avoid a truly crazy scenario.
RB T.J. Yeldon
Specialist Taiwan Jones is healthy, and he’ll be active as the team’s emergency third running back-slash-special teams contributor.
TE Tyler Kroft
Blocking specialist Lee Smith has been a healthy scratch more often than not this year, but today it’s Kroft who’s out for the game. Perhaps this is an indication that the Bills plan to deploy Smith as a blocker more often to aid in the run game?
DE Trent Murphy
Murphy, who has started eight games this year, is a healthy scratch for the second time. Harrison Phillips will be active at defensive tackle instead.
