In today’s edition of the Buffalo Bills daily links, we break down the unlikely cast of players who were on the field and keyed Buffalo’s game-saving defensive stop during a Week 8 win over the New England Patriots.

That group includes defensive tackle Justin Zimmer, who punched the ball free from Cam Newton, and safety Dean Marlowe, who fell on the loose ball, who were part of the 11 players who hadn’t played a single snap together all season long until the final three defensive plays vs. the Patriots.

Continuing with observations from the win: We examine the difference that Jon Feliciano’s return made for both the offensive line and the running game, analyze why rookie Zack Moss and Devin Singletary were able to find success against the Patriots’ run defense, and discuss how Buffalo’s biggest weaknesses at outside linebacker and the one-technique defensive tackle were exposed on Sunday.

We get the latest news on what moves the Bills could make before today’s trade deadline, hear from head coach Sean McDermott on where his team stands at the midway point of the season, get to know Darron Lee, Buffalo’s newest linebacker, and much more.
