It was a busy afternoon in the AFC East with the entire division playing 1 p.m. EST games. The lone divisional matchup pitted the Miami Dolphins against the New York Jets. Miami started Ryan Fitzpatrick since Tua Tagovailoa was out with a thumb injury, while Sam Darnold was returning from his own injury. In the end, the Jets’ offense still struggled to come away with points as Miami cruised to a 20-3 victory.
Meanwhile in Orchard Park, the Buffalo Bills were able to get another conference win—this time over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bills’ defense appears to be coming back to life after a lackluster start to the season. Buffalo was able to hold Justin Herbert in check for the majority of the football game. Wrapping things up in Foxboro, the New England Patriots landed a field goal as time expired to defeat the Arizona Cardinals. As the 2020 regular season enters the home stretch, let’s look at the remaining schedules for all four teams in the AFC East.
