The Buffalo Bills, who face off against the Seattle Seahawks today, have an injury report this week that reads like War and Peace. As a result, many of the team’s inactives were already declared out in advance of today’s game.
Which players who earned the “questionable” designation are suiting up today? Here are Buffalo’s inactive players.
QB Jake Fromm
Fromm is a healthy scratch as per usual thanks to the continued good health of Josh Allen and Matt Barkley
RB T.J. Yeldon
Yeldon is inactive once again, but this time he isn’t a healthy scratch. He popped up on the injury report with a back issue this week.
RB Taiwan Jones
The special teams gunner and emergency game-day running back is out with a hamstring injury today. With only Devin Singletary and Zack Moss active, it’s worth speculating who would fill in as a running back if one of the two were to be hurt today. Reggie Gilliam is active as a tight end/fullback, but Isaiah McKenzie might be the most likely candidate in case of emergency.
TE Lee Smith
With Dawson Knox back in action, it’s back to the bench for the veteran blocking specialist, who is a healthy scratch once again.
C Mitch Morse
After suffering his fifth documented concussion last week, Morse is going to miss today’s game. Jon Feliciano, who was just activated off of injured reserve last week, should slide over to center, with either Ike Boettger continuing to fill in at left guard or starter Cody Ford, who is active today after injuring his knee a few weeks ago, returning to the lineup.
DT Harrison Phillips
With Vernon Butler (groin) ready to play, Phillips is back to being a healthy scratch on game day just a week after he led all Buffalo defensive linemen in snaps.
CB Josh Norman
The veteran is still dealing with a lingering hamstring issue, so he’s out again. Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson figure to see the most reps across from Tre’Davious White as a result.
