Cody Ford leaves game, Ike Boettger in for Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills left guard Cody Ford has left the game against the Seattle Seahawks. Ike Boettger is once again in as his replacement. Ford limped off after Buffalo’s second touchdown and a cart took him from the sideline to the locker room.

FOX reported that he couldn’t put any weight on the ankle and is questionable to return.

Ford has been on the injury report with a bad knee over the last few weeks, missing the last two games completely. Boettger has been playing a lot this season in relief for both Ford and Mitch Morse.

The Bills’ offensive line has been through a lot of players on the interior this year. Quinton Spain began the year at left guard, before being benched and ultimately released. Ford moved to left guard from right but suffered his injury and was replaced by Boettger. Brian Winters stepped in at right guard. Jon Feliciano came off injured reserve and started for the injured Ford, but then moved to center when Morse was hurt. So now it’s three brand new players on the interior from the beginning of the season.
