AFC Playoff Picture: Despite big win, Buffalo Bills don’t gain any ground

The top of the AFC is still the same.

The Buffalo Bills beat the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday but, with wins from the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans, the Bills didn’t really gain a whole lot of ground in the AFC Playoff Picture. They are still hoping the Dallas Cowboys can put a dent in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ perfect season, but that would only give Buffalo an eventual path to improvement.

All of the top five teams in the AFC won their games and the Miami Dolphins, close on the heels of the Bills, also won. The only team in the top half of the conference to lose was the Indianapolis Colts, who played the Baltimore Ravens. The Colts fall from playoff position to ninth in the conference because all the top teams were winners in Week 9.

Here is where the AFC Playoff Picture stands heading into Monday:

Here are the overall standings:

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-0)
2. Kansas City Chiefs (8-1)
