The Buffalo Bills enter their Week 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers as healthy as they’ve been all season. While they’re missing some pieces on offense, namely wide receiver John Brown and guard Cody Ford, the team finally has all of its prime defensive weapons available.
Last week, it was linebacker Matt Milano who returned from injured reserve. Today, linebacker Tyrel Dodson will play for the first time since he was placed on IR with a hamstring injury in October.
With that level of good health, nearly all of Buffalo’s inactives tonight are healthy scratches. Here’s the Bills’ full list of inactive players.
QB Jake Fromm
The COVID emergency quarterback remains isolated during the week and inactive on game day.
RB T.J. Yeldon
The veteran remains a healthy scratch even after rookie Zack Moss suffered a case of fumblitis last week. Devin Singletary and Moss will share duties as per usual.
TE Tyler Kroft
Continuing with a theme begun after the bye, Kroft is a healthy scratch and blocking specialist Lee Smith is active. Dawson Knox and Reggie Gilliam are the other tight ends.
DE Trent Murphy
Continuing another theme started after the bye, Murphy is a healthy scratch and rookie A.J. Epenesa is active as a rotational defensive end behind veterans Mario Addison and Jerry Hughes.
S Jaquan Johnson
The only injury scratch in the bunch is Johnson, who was ruled out on Friday with an ankle injury. Johnson’s primary function is as a special teams player, so the team will have to adjust accordingly with its kick coverage unit.
