AFC Playoff Picture: Everyone wins to stand pat

Everyone won.

While the Buffalo Bills won on Saturday, pretty much every other team in the AFC playoff picture won, too, so little has changed. That is of course with a large caveat; the Pittsburgh Steelers, 0-2 in their last two games, are on the docket for Monday night and the Cleveland Browns play Sunday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs moved one step closer to securing the number-one seed with their Sunday afternoon win. The Bills won, but so did the fourth-place Tennessee Titans, who are close on Buffalo’s heels for that three seed. The longer the Titans stay one game behind, the less likely it is Buffalo gets to rest their starters in Week 17.

In the Wild Card spots, the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins won, as well. The Baltimore Ravens won, too, but the Las Vegas Raiders fell on Thursday night.

In other news, the New England Patriots have been eliminated from playoff contention.

Here is the updated playoff picture prior to Sunday Night Football.
