Stefon Diggs breaks Buffalo Bills’ single-season receiving-yards record

Diggs passes former Bills great Eric Moulds

In his first season with the Buffalo Bills, wide receiver Stefon Diggs has found himself atop the Bills record books for the second time. With a catch early in the first quarter against the Denver Broncos in Week 15, Diggs surpassed the record of 100 catches, set by Eric Moulds in 2002.

Now, in the Bills’ Week 16 matchup against the New England Patriots, Stefon Diggs has passed Moulds yet again for most receiving yards in a single season with 1383 yards. Diggs surpassed the record on his 50-yard catch and run touchdown in the second quarter. The previous record of 1,368 yards, has been standing since Moulds did it in 1998 with Doug Flutie and Rob Johnson as his quarterbacks.

Diggs has already surpassed his career high in catches (102), which was set in 2018 and his career high in receiving yards (1,130) set in 2019.

Now, in his first year with the Buffalo Bills after being traded by the Minnesota Vikings in the offseason, Diggs finds himself setting new standards for the Bills’ record books.
