The Buffalo Bills have won three straight primetime games to finish off the 2020 season. Two of them came on Monday Night Football this month and the Bills have not traditionally played well in those games. Expect to see more of them in 2021.
The Bills haven’t won consecutive Monday Night Football games since 1993. That year, they beat the Houston Oilers and Washington’s football team before losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers. That loss to the Steelers late in 1993 stopped a streak of six straight MNF wins dating back to 1991.
Buffalo has now won four straight games scheduled to kick off after 8:00 p.m. Eastern dating back to last season. We haven’t seen a streak like that since 1998-2000, when Buffalo won four straight. You have to go back to 1991-1992 (when the team won six straight) for the only longer streak in team history than the one the current Bills have forged.
