NFL Week 13 Sunday slate open thread

No Bills today? No problem—here’s a place we can talk about all the happenings around the league

The Buffalo Bills don’t play today, as the team takes on the San Francisco 49ers in its first real Monday Night Football action of the season. True, it will be the second time Buffalo has played a game on a Monday this year, but it’s the first time that happened intentionally—Buffalo’s Week 6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs was scheduled for Thursday Night Football, but was pushed back thanks to scheduling changes caused by the Tennessee Titans’ coronavirus outbreak.

Plenty of us will take some time away from football games and the television today, but we’ll still want to check in with our fellow Bills fans to see how their Sundays are going. Once a Mafia member, always a Mafia member, and we’ll still enjoy talking about our opponents’ eventual losses.

So whether you’ll be watching the Miami Dolphins as they try to beat a backup quarterback and the Cincinnati Bengals, or you’ll be tuned in to the Cleveland Browns as they try to defeat the Tennessee Titans, stop in and talk with us here. Maybe you’re more intrigued by the potential for Anthony Lynn’s Los Angeles Chargers to hand the New England Patriots their seventh loss, which would put a tremendous dent in the Evil Empire’s playoff chances.

Any way you slice it, there’s still some good football to be played this week. While we wait for the main course tomorrow night, we can load up a little on the appetizers. It’s the holiday season, after all.

Our chat for the day is here, friends. Enjoy a stress-free Sunday...at least as it relates to football...and hopefully as it relates to your real life, as well.
