The Bills have a short list of inactives this week

The Buffalo Bills have announced their Week 13 inactives for tonight’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Earlier today, the team activated linebacker Matt Milano from injured reserve, giving them a linebacker group nearly at full strength for the first time in over a month.

The Bills are “nearly” at full strength in that group because Tyrel Dodson, who was also eligible to come off of IR tonight, was not activated for the game. Thus, the Bills have 52 players on their active roster, meaning that only four players have to remain inactive tonight.

Which players are Buffalo’s healthy scratches? Here’s the list.

QB Jake Fromm

Rinse, wash, repeat.

RB T.J. Yeldon

Buffalo’s emergency running back remains on the shelf with both Devin Singletary and Zack Moss healthy.

TE Tyler Kroft

For the second consecutive week, the Bills will go with venerable blocking specialist Lee Smith over Kroft, who is the most “balanced” of Buffalo’s tight ends, but he isn’t the blocker that Smith is or the athletic receiving threat that Dawson Knox is, either.

DE Trent Murphy

The high-priced veteran is once again a healthy scratch, as second-round draft choice A.J. Epenesa continues to become more comfortable in the defense.
