Buffalo Rumblings staff changes, February 2020

Thanks and congratulations.

The Super Bowl is in the rear-view mirror and as such, we are in full offseason mode at the blog. With the Buffalo Bills playing a game in January, this post is a little later than normal but that’s a good thing.

First and foremost, we want to thank Anthony Marino for his time doing our daily links. He was one of my first hires back in 2017 when I became Editor-in-Chief and has been relentless with those links posts. He’s not leaving us, but he’s been transitioning to his new role as Podcast Editor for a while and now it’s in full effect. He’s also going to be contributing a couple articles per week for the foreseeable future.

Taking his spot as the purveyor of our daily links post is going to be John Boccacino. John has been around since 2017, as well, and we’re glad we are going to be seeing his byline even more. John will continue hosting Billieve, as well.

Nick Battilana and Bruce Nolan are also expanding their roles on the site. Previously, they had put out a weekly Nick & Nolan Show on the podcast network. Then during the regular season, they took on the opportunity to write one article per week; Nick wrote opinion pieces while Bruce did some analysis on the next week’s opponent. We’ve formalized that agreement and you’ll be hearing from both of them twice a week now in addition to their podcast and we are looking forward to even more of their great insights.

Joining us as new contributors are Javi Carrero, Max Owens, and Kurt Haumesser. They will be contributing as they wish to our daily article counts. Javi is a recent grad of Medaille College. Max earned his degree in Sports Media from Ithaca College. Kurt is a senior at Mercyhurst majoring in Sports Business Management.

Adam Naninni left us as a contributor last August to take over the Buffalo Fanatics website. We wish him well over there but haven’t run a staff change article since.

Everything else sis staying status quo for now. We’ll have great coverage of the 2020 NFL Combine from Dan Lavoie and Grif. Sean Murphy is plowing through his State of the Bills Roster series. Danyel Geist is managing our social media and doing a ton of fanshots. Skarekrow aka Jeff Kantrowski is providing analysis and insight. Josh Rawdin is managing out images and videos. Corey Giacovelli is providing insight on the AFC East and the rest of the NFL. We have a stellar cast of contributors, a fast-growing podcast network, and just like the Bills, we’re ready for what comes next.
