Mocking The Bills: Brand new Day 2 mock draft

There is still plenty of talent on the board for Buffalo

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Day one of the 2020 NFL Draft has come to a close, and now fans of the Buffalo Bills can get a much clearer picture of what the team might do in the second and third round. While there were certainly a few surprises in the first round of the draft, plenty of options that are coveted by Bills fans remain on the board.

Round 2

33. Cincinnati Bengals - Yetur Gross-Matos EDGE Penn State
34. Indianapolis Colts - Denzel Mims WR Baylor
35. Detroit Lions - A.J. Epenesa EDGE Iowa
36. New York Giants - Xavier McKinney S Alabama
37. New England Patriots - Zack Baun EDGE Wisconsin
38. Carolina Panthers - Jaylon Johnson CB Utah
39. Miami Dolphins - Grant Delpit S LSU
40. Houston Texans - Terrell Lewis EDGE Alabama
41. Cleveland Browns - Willie Gay Jr. LB Mississippi State
42. Jacksonville Jaguars - Antoine Winfield Jr. S Minnesota
43. Chicago Bears - Kristian Fulton CB LSU
44. Indianapolis Colts - Jalen Hurts QB Oklahoma
45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - D’Andre Swift RB Georgia
46. Denver Broncos - Neville Gallimore DT Oklahoma
47. Atlanta Falcons - Marlon Davidson DT Auburn
48. New York Jets - KJ Hamler WR Penn State
49. Pittsburgh Steelers - Josh Jones OT Houston
50. Chicago Bears - Jeremy Chinn S Southern Illinois
51. Dallas Cowboys - Kyle Dugger S Lenoir-Rhyne
52. Los Angeles Rams - Trevon Diggs CB Alabama
53. Philadelphia Eagles - Cameron Dantzler CB Mississippi State

54. Buffalo Bills - J.K. Dobbins RB Ohio State - While there are other options available on the board at receiver and corner, Dobbins is just too good of an option to pass over. Combining Dobbins with Devin Singletary would immediately give Buffalo one of the most dynamic backfields in the NFL. General manager Brandon Beane said he needed to get more playmakers on offense, and he did with the addition of Dobbins.

55. Baltimore Ravens - Michael Pittman Jr. WR USC
56. Miami Dolphins - Jonathan Taylor RB Wisconsin
57. Los Angeles Rams - Ross Blacklock DT TCU
58. Minnesota Vikings - Justin Madubuike DT Texas A&M
59. Seattle Seahawks - Tee Higgins WR Clemson
60. Baltimore Ravens - Lloyd Cushenberry III IOL LSU
61. Tennessee Titans - Jonah Jackson IOL Ohio State
62. Green Bay Packers - Laviska Shenault Jr. WR Colorado
63. Kansas City Chiefs - Matt Hennessy IOL Temple
64. Seattle Seahawks - Ezra Cleveland OT Boise State

Round 3

65. Bengals - Lucas Niang OT TCU
66. Washington Redskins - Cole Kmet TE Notre Dame
67. Lions - Raekwon Davis IDL Alabama
68. Jets - Josh Uche EDGE Michigan
69. Panthers - Malik Harrison LB Ohio State
70. Dolphins - Donovan Peoples-Jones WR Michigan
71. Patriots - Chase Claypool WR Notre Dame
72. Arizona Cardinals - Davon Hamilton IDL Ohio State
73. Jaguars - Jordan Elliott IDL Missouri
74. Browns - Robert Hunt IOL Louisiana
75. Colts - Adam Trautman TE Dayton

TRADE - Buffalo sends picks 86 and 167 to Tampa Bay for pick 76

76. Bills - Bryce Hall CB Virginia - Despite the additions of E.J. Gaines and Josh Norman this offseason, cornerback remains a need for the Bills. Hall’s draft stock slipped due to injuries, but is considered a borderline first-round pick when healthy. He excels in zone coverage, and can project to be the team’s long-term starter in 2021.
