Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons discussing joint training camp practices

If they happen, it’ll likely be in Orchard Park.

The Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons are discussing holding joint practices during training camp according to Falcons head coach Dan Quinn. Quinn told reporters on a conference call earlier this week that they’ve also been discussing the possibility with the Miami Dolphins. Atlanta plays both teams in the preseason this year.

The Falcons are coming to Buffalo in Week 2 of the preseason. The exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the date window is August 20th through the 24th. The joint practices would be held in the days leading up to it.

Last year, the Bills held joint practices with another NFC South opponent when they spent a few days down south practicing against the Carolina Panthers. The Bills practiced on August 13th and 14th before their preseason game on the 16th. They held one joint session each day.

Quinn did note that nothing is yet confirmed and discussions were ongoing.
