Plays that defined 2019 Buffalo Bills: Home games semifinals

Home games continue with a smaller field

With the home games cut in half, we continue the bracket to determine a play to define the 2019 Buffalo Bills season. As the cream starts to rise to the top, which play will be left behind? As a reminder, vote for the play that can be best used to describe the Bills’ season, which may not necessarily be the “best” highlight.

Dawson Knox angry run

The play with the highest percentage of votes in its respective game continues to steamroll the competition—just like Dawson Knox did that one time. You probably know the play I mean. I think it was against the Cincinnati Bengals or something.

vs.

Blocked punt

Look. I know which play you all LIKE better, just remember it’s plays that “defined” the season. And a single play separating the Bills from victory against a top competitor IS kinda a thing that happened over and over. This play has a case.

Tre’Davious White interception

The defense saves the day! Tre’Davious White (who else) reads the play like a loose page in a strong wind. The season could easily have been one of repeated catastrophe if it weren’t for moments like these.

vs.

Missed sack

And another “low light” makes the cut. While a defensive gaffe wasn’t super common, this play has the distinction of being the final meaningful one of the season. It could also be used to illustrate the narrative that the offense wasn’t strong enough to elevate the team in the rare occasion the defense faltered.
