Buffalo Bills’ rookie CB Ike Brown placed on Reserve-COVID list

The Buffalo Bills added their first player to the Reserve-COVID list on Monday, using the roster exemption on cornerback “Ike” Isaiah Brown. Brown is an undrafted free-agent cornerback from Florida International University.

Placement on the COVID list doesn’t mean that Brown has tested positive for the coronavirus. He could also be placed on the list for being exposed to someone who has the virus.

Brown took a COVID-19 test when he arrived to the team facility on July 21st and then again on July 24th when rookies made their second visit. Placement on the list just recently started as teams make their way down to the 80-man roster limit now mandated by the NFL.

Brown is among the 22 players that were placed on the list Monday, joining Miami Dolphins long snapper Blake Ferguson. Ferguson is the bother of Bills long snapper Reid Ferguson who confirmed on Twitter today that the pair haven’t been together in over a month.
