On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D’Amico break down why Buffalo Bills fans have two big reasons to celebrate with the news that head coach Sean McDermott and starting left tackle Dion Dawkins each agreed to long-term contract extensions with the team.
McDermott, who has guided the Bills to two playoff berths in his first three years, earned a four-year extension through the 2025 season after changing the team’s culture while bringing in high-character guys who have won on the field and brought respect to the franchise.
Dawkins flashed enough potential to ink a four-year, $60-million extension ($34 million guaranteed) as QB Josh Allen’s blindside protector. In the process, Dawkins becomes the first draft pick of the McDermott era to make it to a second contract.
We analyze the extensions, speculate on whether general manager Brandon Beane will be the next to receive a new deal, set an over/under on how many TD passes Dawkins will haul in from Allen over the duration of the contract, and much more!
