It was the third day on the field at One Bills Drive for Buffalo Bills training camp. Let’s get right to the happenings!
Injuries
Injuries are proving to be the big story early in camp. Ed Oliver was sidelined again today following the stretching portion of practice, but he wasn’t working with a trainer. He’s been monitoring from the sidelines with his helmet on, which is a good indication he’s close to a return from his hip injury. Head coach Sean McDermott said it will be “a few days.”
Fullback Patrick DiMarco remains out with a sore neck. He’s in a stiff competition at fullback and every rep for the last two days has gone to UDFA Reggie Gilliam. DL Quinton Jefferson was on the list for the first time and is dealing with foot soreness. Robert Foster suffered a concussion on Monday and remains out.
LB Vosean Joseph was in a non-contact jersey on Tuesday. Isaiah Hodgins was a full go after wearing the non-contact jersey the last two days.
TE Tommy Sweeney (foot) and OL Jon Feliciano (torn pec) are the only injuries not listed as day-to-day and they are our indefinitely.
Short practice
The Bills took it easy today after two days of contact. They are going full contact on Thursday, so today was a light day on the field. They were only wearing shoulder pads and helmets on Wednesday.
One general observation from Wednesday's *very* light #Bills practice (lasted one hour, no pads and run at half speed):

Ed Oliver was taking part in some positional drills today, more than I've seen him do so far. Good sign for a speedy return like McDermott mentioned this AM.
Slight info
It’s like the media doesn’t even need to be there. They aren’t reporting who is getting first-team reps and that’s due to a league-wide mandate. Here is a note from Green Bay:
