Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane met with the media on Sunday morning to address a number of topics around the team. One note of interest shared by Beane was that the Bills would be having an intersquad scrimmage on Thursday.
With the cancellation of all preseason games due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Buffalo will be forced to get creative in their preparation for the regular season. Many fans and members of the media speculated what the team might do in terms of scrimmages, and now we have at least some idea of what their plans are.
Despite the high percentage of starters returning this year, the Bills will need time to practice in game-like situations before its Week 1 match-up with the New York Jets. While members of the media have been a bit limited with what they can report, it will certainly be worth monitoring the progress made in all facets of the game.
Check back with Buffalo Rumblings for the latest updates from training camp, and Thursday’s intersquad scrimmage.
