Most Buffalo Bills fans were already pretty confident in their team heading into 2020. A few were of the “wait and see” variety, and they liked what they saw against the New York Jets last week. A small handful are still not convinced. That’s according to our SB Nation Reacts poll from this week.
Coming into 2020, Bills fans were confident at a rate of 96%, which matches where they were after free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft. Some were convinced after Josh Allen’s first 300-yard game and a comfortable win over the New York Jets and that percentage ticked up to 97% this week.
Last season, the team only got as high as 97% fan confidence following their playoff-clinching win in Week 16. It’s the highest number we’ve recorded in the few years we have done fan confidence rankings.
Some fans are as not as judicious with their confidence. Fans of the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and New Orleans Saints all have fan confidence at 100%. The Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams also sit at 97% with the Seattle Seahawks at 98%. On the other end of the spectrum are the Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons at 15% and the New York Jets at 16% fan confidence.
