Jamie D’Amico and Big Chris Newton unpack a busy past week of Buffalo Bills news, beginning with the over/under set by oddsmakers.

Draftkings, the online sports book, released their over/under for the NFL, setting the Bills’ anticipated win total at 8.5. Not surprisingly, Bills fans disagreed and took to Twitter to make their voices heard. D’Amico and Netwon, however, had differing opinions as to the accuracy of the prediction, and what could force the Bills to fall under.

Your hosts then looked into their own crystal ball to predict which individual players are primed for a break-out year. With surprising performances in recent seasons by players such as Jordan Phillips, who exceeded all expectations in 2019 to record 9.5 sacks, it is likely someone on the Bills’ roster will make a name for himself in 2020. Candidates include TE Dawson Knox, DL Quinton Jefferson, and more.

The conversation also covered the true meaning of individual performances from last week’s intra-squad scrimmage, a very uncomfortable sounding injury Big Newt suffered in his playing days, and whether he’d loan money to former Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka. (Note: The author is still laughing and shuddering at the thought of Newton’s injury.)
