Buffalo Bills linebackers Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano should be back soon

The pair are still on the actie roster.

Buffalo Bills linebackers Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds remain on the active roster. That’s a pretty good indication that the pair will be back for Week 3 or Week 4 because they weren’t placed on injured reserve, which has a three-week minimum in 2020. In order for Week 2 to count toward the minimum, they would have had to be on IR prior to 4:00 PM Eastern on Saturday.

Last week, the Bills placed cornerback Josh Norman on injured reserve ahead of their Week 1 game. That assumes he will be out for at least the first three games of the season. He’s now eligible to return in Week 4.

Milano injured his hamstring in the first half of the team’s season opener against the New York Jets, pulling himself from the game last in the second quarter. Edmunds suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter. Both have been declared out of Sunday’s Week 2 contest.
