The 2020 fantasy football season is in the books, and a trio of Buffalo Bills certainly outplayed their average draft position this year. If you were fortunate enough to draft Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, or Cole Beasley—chances are your team had some success this season.
Despite going undrafted in most leagues, Beasley was a fantastic addition as a free agent pickup. Beasley was consistently a WR2 or FLEX play each week, finishing the season as the 21st ranked receiver in half-PPR leagues. While Bills fans will hold their breath that Beasley is healthy for the playoffs, his fantasy owners were incredibly pleased with his 82 catches for 967 yards though Week 16.
According to CBS Sports, Diggs was the 24th receiver picked based on ADP—generally being selected in the seventh round. Those who put their faith in Diggs were certainly rewarded, as he exploded on the scene in Buffalo with 120 receptions for 1,459 yards. Diggs exploded for nine catches totaling 145 yards and three touchdowns on championship weekend, making him a league winner for plenty of owners.
Finally, Josh Allen finished as the the top ranked fantasy quarterback, thanks to a breakout campaign. Allen has accounted for 43 touchdowns to date (34 passing, 8 rushing, and 1 receiving), and was also a seventh-round selection on average this year. Allen, a candidate for MVP, proved to also be one of the most notable fantasy football values this season.
Regardless of how your fantasy team performed this season, I appreciate you following along with our Buffalo Rumblings fantasy previews throughout the year.
