Cole Beasley, Reggie Gilliam ruled out of Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins game

But John Brown’s back.

The Buffalo Bills need to decide to what extent they’ll rest their starters against the Miami Dolphins, but for Cole Beasley, the decision is already made. Beasley (knee) wasn’t able to practice this week, and was ruled out of the game on the team’s final injury report of the week. So, too, was Reggie Gilliam (knee/hamstring), now missing his second consecutive game. Will they be available for the playoffs? At least for the first game, it’s questionable—especially if the Bills end up playing on Saturday (the schedule has not yet been determined).

That’s the only bad news on the report. Jon Feliciano (illness) missed two earlier practices, but was a full participant on Friday. The team activated John Brown from the COVID-19 reserve list, and he’s fully healthy and ready to play as much as the Bills would like. Other close contacts, including Christian Wade and Josh Thomas, were also activated from the list (and returned to the practice squad). T.J. Yeldon, who tested positive for the coronavirus, remains unavailable this week.
