It Will Be Yeldon

PFT is reporting that TJ Yeldon will indeed be replacing the RB slot created when Moss was lost due to injury. In that same press conference, McDermott said that sudden fan favorite Antonio Williams "may" be brought up to the active roster. That certainly didn't make it sound as though he is planning on Williams having much - if any - role in the game against Baltimore.

I would have preferred Williams to Yeldon. While the Bills site curiously lists Yeldon as being heavier than Williams, that just doesn't pass the eyeball test. It is worth keeping in mind that the Bills site also has Lee Smith about 10 pounds heavier than Dawson Knox, something that is manifestly untrue. I suspect that the Bills ask players how much they weigh and just use that number, kind of like the DMV. No word on whether the person inputting the information to the website mumbles to themselves as DMV employees are prone to doing when a hefty lady claims she is 135#.

Yeldon has experience on his side. He has also proven himself capable of catching passes out of the backfield. Williams is more of a bruising back, making him more of a complement to Singletary.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
