We are 90 minutes (give or take by the time this publishes) from kickoff between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens. What’s at stake tonight is the first of two seats at the AFC Championship Game table. The loser won’t play a meaningful game until September. The winner has a shot at making the Super Bowl.
The Bills and Ravens both enter tonight’s game relatively healthy, and while Buffalo had plenty of players on the injury report this week, only one had an injury designation heading into tonight. Is that player active? Who else is a scratch this week for both squads?
Here are the inactive players for tonight’s Divisional Round matchup.
QB Jake Fromm
Thankfully, Buffalo doesn’t need Fromm to suit up tonight.
RB Antonio Williams
The undrafted rookie stormed his way into the hearts and minds of Bills fans with his 63-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Miami Dolphins in the regular-season finale. While he was called up from the practice squad for this game, that was a precautionary measure. T.J. Yeldon is active, just as head coach Sean McDermott said he’d be earlier in the week.
TE Tyler Kroft
Buffalo’s second tight end to start the year has become their third tight end to finish the season, as veteran Lee Smith serves as the backup to Dawson Knox.
OL Jordan Devey
Devey was elevated to the 53-man roster when running back Zack Moss went on injured reserve thanks to an ankle injury suffered last week.
DE Darryl Johnson
The second-year man popped up on the injury report with a knee issue, so veteran Trent Murphy will be active for the first time since Buffalo played the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.
LB Tyrel Dodson
The second-year man was a healthy scratch last week, and he’s a healthy scratch again this week.
CB Dane Jackson
Buffalo’s second practice squad call-up is their second practice-squad inactive of the day. Like Williams, Jackson was called up just in case of an injury or illness.
