Bills Mafia helping local Buffalo businesses

With many strained by the COVID-19 pandemic, fans are donating to help through Josh Norman’s organization

On the heels of tremendous donations to Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson’s favorite charity, Blessings in a Backpack, Bills Mafia has a chance to help people in need closer to home. Buffalo Bills cornerback Josh Norman founded Starz 24, a not-for-profit organization whose wide-reaching philanthropy has partnered with the City of Buffalo to bring financial relief to small businesses suffering as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic through the creation of the Buffalo Business Blitz fund.

As of this writing, the fund had surpassed $440,000 in donations, with a goal of reaching $500,000 to help offset the impact of the pandemic on 200 local businesses.

In addition to supporting local Buffalo businesses, Starz 24 is focused “on children, youth, and the communities around them. (Its) main mission is to provide enrichment to children through community events & youth programs. With an emphasis on fitness & teamwork, Starz24 challenges the youth to participate & excel in areas that help develop strong interpersonal skills, and awareness of the world around them.”

We encourage you to learn more about all the programs and initiatives that Josh Norman and Starz 24 provide to children and youth. There’s still time to help local Buffalo businesses if you wish to donate to the Buffalo Business Blitz fund.
