Green Bay Packers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: NFC Title Game open thread

Which of the grey beards will punch a ticket to Tampa?

The Buffalo Bills play the Kansas City Chiefs later today to determine the AFC representative in Super Bowl LV. First, though, the NFC Championship Game between the Green Bay Packers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be played at Lambeau Field.

The NFC matchup pits two of the NFL’s elder statesmen at quarterback against each other, as Aaron Rodgers looks to make his second career Super Bowl appearance. This is Rodgers’s fifth NFC Championship game; Green Bay is 1-3 in his previous four appearances, including a loss last year.

On the other sideline is Tom Brady, formerly of the New England Patriots, in his first season at the helm of the Buccaneers’ offense. Brady is no stranger to playing for conference championships, as he made the AFC title game in 13 of his 19 seasons as New England’s starter (including the 2008 season, which he missed nearly in full thanks to a torn ACL). This is Tampa Bay’s first appearance in the NFC Championship Game since the 2002 season.

Use this as your open thread for the NFC matchup if you’re looking for a place to talk about football with your fellow anxious Bills fans as we all wait for the main event tonight.
