2020 Buffalo Bills set team record for points scored

They beat some pretty good teams in Bills history.

The 2020 Buffalo Bills’ offense continues breaking records. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs hold all the major individual records and now the current team holds the record for most points scored in a season.

Heading into this week, the 1991 Bills held the record with 458 points, an average of 28.625 points per game. They scored 30 points or more nine times that season.

The 2020 version of the Bills came into the game with 445 points. Needed 14 points to take the lead, Buffalo scored touchdowns on back-to-back drives in the first and second quarter and added more for good measure.

The 2013 Denver Broncos dropped scored 606 points, in case you were thinking about where it sat all time.

Heading into Week 17, the Bills were sixth in the NFL in points scored. The Green Bay Packers entered the day with 474 points. As of this writing, the Bills are leading the league with multiple games left to play in the final week of the season.

Buffalo finishes the year with 501 points, an average of more than 31 points per game.
