Where there’s football, there’s food. There are many great options in the category of “traditional fare” but you might be in the mood for something different. Wingin’ It has you covered with a new Buffalo sauce-inspired recipe every week of the Buffalo Bills’ season. Get ready to win big in your kitchen as the Bills get ready to participate in whatever the heck the Pro Bowl is this year!

I’m gonna level with you. Due to personal scheduling, aka “I was going grocery shopping the morning of the AFC Championship Game,” I had a recipe ready to go before I knew the results of the last game. Here it is. The Pro Bowl isn’t real football, and this isn’t a real recipe so it’s perfect.
Buffalo Antipasto Salad
Serves: A lot
Active Time: 20 min
Total Time: 20 min
Buffalo antipasto dressing
1⁄2 cup hot sauce
1⁄4 cup olive oil
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
1⁄4 tsp thyme
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
Whatever you want for your antipasto. I used romaine lettuce, tomatoes, black and green olives, mozzarella, cheddar, pepperoni, two types of salami, and prosciutto
Directions
- Combine hot sauce, olive oil*, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and thyme in medium saucepan on MED.
- Simmer mixture 10 min, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter
- You can probably handle assembling a salad with your preferred antipasto ingredients on your own.
Wingin’ It Tips
*The olive oil and hot sauce don’t play well together. In Step 3, when you add the butter it should combine better.
BONUS thing!
I had planned on doing an offseason recipe, which will BEGIN next week. If you follow along with it, you’ll find out how everything shapes up in April.
